The IDEA DRIVE™ Contest (“Contest”) is sponsored and administered by Elevisi (“Sponsor”). By submitting an entry, all participants (“Entrants”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
1. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.
Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Employees, contractors, officers, directors, agents, representatives, immediate family members, and household members of Sponsor or affiliated entities may be ineligible to participate or receive awards, at Sponsor’s discretion.
2. CONTEST DESCRIPTION
IDEA DRIVE is a promotional idea-submission competition intended to identify promising new business, product, service, venture, technology, invention, or market ideas submitted by the public.
The Contest is a skill-based promotional competition and is not a lottery or game of chance.
Entries may be submitted from any lawful industry or market sector.
3. ENTRY PERIOD
The submission period begins upon public announcement of the Contest and ends at 11:59 PM Central Time on July 31, 2026 (“Entry Deadline”).
Weekly finalists may be announced throughout the submission period.
Final rounds and public voting phases may occur in August and September 2026 or later at Sponsor’s discretion.
Sponsor reserves the right to extend, shorten, suspend, or modify any Contest timeline.
4. HOW TO ENTER

Submit your original business, product, invention, or venture idea before the Entry Deadline
Limit: One (1) primary submission per person unless otherwise authorized by Sponsor.
Incomplete, fraudulent, misleading, automated, or duplicate submissions may be disqualified.
No purchase or payment is required to enter or participate.
5. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
All submitted ideas must:

Be original or lawfully owned by Entrant

Not knowingly infringe upon any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, or intellectual property rights of others

Not contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, discriminatory, or offensive content

Not promote illegal activities
-
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Entrants are solely responsible for the content and legality of their submissions.
Sponsor is not responsible for protecting confidential information submitted through the Contest.
Entrants should not submit trade secrets or confidential information unless they are willing to disclose such information for evaluation purposes.
6. Intellectual property & IDEA SUBMISSIONS
By submitting an entry, Entrant acknowledges and agrees:

Submission of an idea does not create a confidential relationship between Entrant and Sponsor

Sponsor may already be independently developing or evaluating similar ideas
-
Entrant retains ownership of their original intellectual property unless rights are later transferred through a separate written agreement
-
Submission alone does not guarantee compensation, partnership, licensing, investment, employment, or purchase
If Sponsor wishes to purchase, license, invest in, or otherwise acquire rights to an idea, such arrangement shall occur only through a separate negotiated written agreement.
Any stated “offer amounts” are potential offer opportunities only and are not guaranteed prizes automatically awarded upon submission or selection.
7. JUDGING CRITERIA
Entries may be evaluated using criteria including but not limited to:

Originality
-
Innovation
-
Commercial potential
-
Scalability
-
Market relevance
-
Feasibility
-
Consumer appeal
-
Presentation quality
-
Community engagement or voting results
Sponsor reserves sole discretion regarding evaluation methods and scoring.
8. WEEKLY FINALISTS & COMMUNITY VOTING
Sponsor may announce up to three (3) finalists each week.
At the end of each month, eligible community voting may determine monthly finalists who advance to later rounds.
Sponsor reserves the right to:

Verify finalist eligibility

Remove fraudulent votes
-
Audit voting activity
-
Disqualify manipulation attempts
-
Modify voting procedures if integrity concerns arise
Sponsor’s decisions regarding finalists, voting results, and advancement are final.
9. FINAL ROUND
Finalists advancing to the September final round may be asked to:

Participate in interviews
-
Provide additional documentation
-
Demonstrate proof of concept
-
Present their ideas publicly or privately
-
Verify ownership or development rights
Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
10. OFFERS, AWARDS & COMPENSATION
The Contest may include up to $300,000 in potential offer opportunities, including illustrative amounts such as:

Third Place Opportunity: Up to $50,000

Second Place Opportunity: Up to $100,000
-
First Place Opportunity: Up to $150,000
These amounts represent potential negotiated offer values and are not guaranteed cash prizes automatically payable upon winning.
Any acquisition, licensing, consulting, investment, partnership, or compensation arrangement shall be subject to:

Due diligence
-
Independent review
-
Negotiation
-
Written contractual agreement
-
Applicable tax reporting requirements
Sponsor reserves the right not to enter into any transaction with any Entrant.
11. TAXES
Entrants are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes arising from any compensation, award, payment, licensing agreement, or financial transaction associated with the Contest.
Sponsor may issue IRS Form 1099 or other required tax documentation where applicable.
12. PUBLICITY RELEASE
Except where prohibited by law, participation constitutes Entrant’s consent for Sponsor to use Entrant’s:

Photograph
-
Voice
-
Likeness
-
Submission details
-
Statements
for promotional, advertising, publicity, editorial, and marketing purposes in any media worldwide without additional compensation.
13. DISQUALIFICATION
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

Violates these Rules
-
Provides false information
-
Attempts to manipulate voting
-
Uses bots or automated systems
-
Harasses participants
-
Engages in fraud or misconduct
-
Violates laws or third-party rights
Sponsor’s determinations are final and binding.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating, Entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, contractors, partners, agents, successors, and assigns from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

Participation in the Contest

Use or misuse of submitted ideas

Technical failures
-
Unauthorized access
-
Intellectual property disputes
-
Public voting outcomes
-
Award negotiations
-
Contest cancellation or modification
Sponsor makes no warranties regarding Contest operation or outcomes.
15. INTERNET & TECHNICAL ISSUES
Sponsor is not responsible for:

Website outages
-
Server failures
-
Internet disruptions
-
Corrupted submissions
-
Lost data
-
Delayed transmissions
-
Unauthorized access
-
Technical malfunctions
Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
16. RIGHT TO CANCEL OR MODIFY
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest at any time for any reason including fraud, technical failure, legal compliance, force majeure events, or operational concerns.
17. GOVERNING LAW
The Contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
Entrants waive the right to participate in class-action litigation against Sponsor.
18. ARBITRATION
At Sponsor’s discretion, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration pursuant to applicable arbitration rules and Minnesota law.
19. PRIVACY
Information submitted through the Contest may be collected, stored, and used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at:
20. NO GUARANTEE OF BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP
Participation in the Contest does not create any:

Employment relationship
-
Partnership
-
Joint venture
-
Fiduciary relationship
-
Investment obligation
-
Agency relationship
between Entrant and Sponsor.
21. WINNER VERIFICATION
Potential finalists or winners may be required to provide:

Government-issued identification

Proof of residency
-
Eligibility documentation
-
Affidavits
-
Tax forms
-
Intellectual property verification
Failure to provide requested materials may result in disqualification.
22. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Rules is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
23. ACCEPTANCE OF RULES
By entering the Contest, Entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Official Rules and all decisions made by Sponsor.
