Four contestants at a time will face off in an exciting vertical challenge, climbing nearly 300 feet up towering structures to reach the summit and screw in a light bulb. Inspired by the viral video featuring the real-life tower technician who reportedly earns $20,000 to climb cell phone towers and change light bulbs, this challenge gives everyday people the opportunity to experience the thrill for themselves. Every participant who successfully completes the climb will walk away with a prize, but only one competitor from each group will earn the ultimate reward—a $20,000 cash prize for the fastest climb and bulb lighting. Elevisi Grand Opening Celebration
The Tower Climb Challenge is just one of the featured attractions during Elevisi.com's four-day Grand Opening Celebration, taking place September 17–20 just outside of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This exciting event marks the official launch of Elevisi.com and will bring together innovators, entrepreneurs, creators, competitors, and community members for four unforgettable days of entertainment, inspiration, and opportunity.
In addition to the Tower Climb Challenge, attendees can participate in a variety of daily contests, competitions, and interactive challenges with prizes and recognition opportunities. The event will also feature seminars, presentations, and speeches from motivational and inspirational leaders, along with live music, comedy performances, food vendors, networking opportunities, and other special activities throughout the weekend.
The South Dakota event is the first in a planned series of Elevisi-sponsored celebrations, with additional events anticipated in Texas, Utah, and Florida during 2027 - Stay Tuned!
Applicants who are not selected to participate in the Tower Climb Challenge are still encouraged to attend and enjoy the event. Guests will have the opportunity to watch the climbs, compete in other daily challenges and competitions, attend presentations, and take part in the many activities available throughout the four-day celebration.
